Baby leaf spinach is a favorite for salads and sandwiches—and Acadia is one of the best we 've grown. Its attractive, dark green, slightly cupped leaves grow very upright and are easy to harvest. The baby leaves add wonderful flavor and texture to salads and sandwiches. A very productive variety, Acadia Hybrid Spinach is slow to bolt and exhibits good mildew resistance. Requiring growing conditions similar to lettuce, spinach seeds can be sown in early spring, as soon as the ground can be worked. They can also be planted in late summer for a fall crop. Spinach can also be grown in containers. 45 DAYS.
