Wonderfully mild-flavored cucumbers are never bitter and don’t cause burping like many other cucumbers do. Plant Gurney’s Burpless II Hybrid cucumber seeds in a sunny site with rich, well-drained soil and they’ll germinate in 6-10 days, offering good yields of blocky dark green fruit. The plants are vigorous, with strong vines and tend to have less problems from cucumber beetles than other varieties. A great pickling variety with improved resistance to leaf spot, scab, mildew, mosaic virus and anthracnose. 55 DAYS.
